From time to time we accumulate enough comics to make available for sale as signed sets. If you can’t find the comics at your local retailer (or just long for a copy bearing the author’s scrawl), take a look at these:

SETS

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic: Flashpoint

kotorset2.jpgNow available! The second storyline of Dark Horse’s new Star Wars series finds Padawan Zayne Carrick up to his armpits in Mandalorians -- and tangling with the diabolical Doctor Demagol!

This set includes Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic #7-12, all three chapters of “Flashpoint,” plus the special all-Lucien "Homecoming" interlude issue and "Reunion."

Autographed set: $29 Paypal

Iron Man: Avengers Disassembled Prologue

ironmanset3.jpgIn 2004, all heck broke loose for the Avengers — leading into the “House of M” storyline and the “Civil War” storyline thereafter. In this prologue, Tony Stark finds that his job as Secretary of Defense may be at odds with his other obligations.

This set includes Iron Man Vol. 3, #84-85, the hard-to-find issues that kicked off the “Avengers Disassembled” storyline — and as a bonus, the one-shot Iron Man Vol. 3, #83.

Autographed set: $20

Iron Man: The Deep End

ironmanset2.jpgTony Stark’s first assignment as Secretary of Defense is an obvious (and dangerous!) one: visiting U.S. forces in Iraq. But paranormal events are afoot in the desert, bringing Iron Man into action!

This set includes Iron Man Vol. 3, #79-82, all four chapters of “The Deep End.” Not yet available in a collected edition!

Autographed set: $20

Star Wars: Empire #35

SWEmpire35.jpgRecently uncovered a few more of these, which are frequently out of stock at the online retailers. This was my first Star Wars work, a solo story featuring Darth Vader doing what he does best: intimidating people!

Autographed copy: $7

Simpsons Comics Presents Bart Simpson #27

Bart27.jpgThis issue features my first Simpsons story, “No Purchase Necessary.” Well, actually, a purchase is necessary to get this book — but it’s a more than reasonable!

Sorry, single-issue sales aren’t possible (except where noted) — it’s hard enough to build the sets in the first place.
