The second half of the year's 12-issue storyline — actually, four three-issue sequences — snaps the Arkanian Legacy sequence right in half, which is an argument against anyone who thinks we just write for the trade paperback. #16-21 are much more related than the arcs on either side — but it wasn't always clear that would be the case.

Dark Horse did not include the text pages we did in the second year of the series; Marvel included them with its Epic Collections years later.

The front cover was Colin Wilson's cover from #24, whereas the back was a chuck of the cover to #19.

  • The number of text corrections in this edition was actually rather small. My terminal misspelling of Goravvus was repaired, and the word that was dropped from Raana Tey's "I took more than I share at dinner" line was restored.

  • visual continuity error between #20 and #21 was repaired. Rohlan was given a golden suit armor on page 5 of #20, which should have been red (as it is in #21-24). As I recall, that was a case of #22 being worked on concurrently with #20. In any event, crimson armor makes more sense for someone of Rohlan's talents in the Neo-Crusader structure.
