And now we get a little further into some of the screwball world that surrounds Benedict's lands in Sword & Sarcasm. Pretty much nothing is as anyone would expect!

John's just back from Wizard World Chicago — it was great seeing everyone! Got to catch up with a lot of webcomics folk — including John Kovalic, whose Dork Tower is the Energizer Bunny (is that reference even used anymore?) of comics. Drop by and check it out!

Sounds like Benedict's gotten in trouble again. Big surprise!
We're both down over the passing of George Carlin — John has some remembrances over on his Faraway Looks blog. He'll be missed — he inspired a lot. (Including, coincidentally, a bit coming up here in a few weeks. More on that later.)
Finally — if you're going to Wizard World Chicago this weekend, drop by the Dark Horse Comics booth. John will be signing there starting at noon on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday. See you then!

...science has followed. The New York Times has a piece on the scientific process behind the production of sarcasm. Who knew?

And we see again this episode just why Duke Benedict's people miss him so much!
Another show appearance in a couple of weeks; John will be at Wizard World Chicago, signing at the Dark Horse booth on Saturday and Sunday. Check back soon for specific times!

And turnabout is fair play — rotisserie-style! Check here for Benedict's similar-yet-different experience!
More links to the right, as we're listed on several more webcomics lists from The Belfry to OnlineComics. Be sure to drop in and register your approval of S&S — your votes bring us new readers!
We've also added a link to Steve Horton's new book on creating webcomics. Steve worked with John years ago at Scrye... good luck with the new book!
